Sent our son off to Kuwait yesterday. He was in Irag a few years ago for 14 months during the
Irag election time, no fun. Hopefully this will be a better tour, Mom still don't like it much though.
But we are very proud of him and all of our service people, may God bless them all and we thank
them for thier service.
Also, a special THANKS to all Vet's past & present, God bless you.

I spent my active duty in the Viet Nam war, and my guess is that this one is every bit as dangerous for our troops.

After active duty I worked for the Dept of Defense as a civilian, living in Italy, Saudi Arabia, Guantanamo Bay, Germany and the Balkans.  In most of these places I worked closely with the military and I can assure you that we have some great young people in the military.  Sure, we have some over weight, under educated paper pushers, but when I was living with the troops in Saudi Arabia, and in the Balkans I saw warriors.  I saw 18, 19, 20 yr olds with pride, determination and self confidence when they went out to do their duty.  I found similar proud young men and women in the marine corps in Guantanamo Bay.  But then when they got done and came to the chow hall after their shift, they were happy go lucky, full of energy and mischief, Kids again.  These are some very fine young adults, and never let anyone tell you otherwise.

Buster,

Please thank your Son for his service to all of us and this Country!

There is nothing more noble than these young men and woman who so selflessly serve in order to protect us, our freedoms, and our way of life.

May the good lord keep him safe, and give you peace and strength in his absence. angel

We just had one of our nephews ship out to Iraq this past Sunday and we are praying for him and all of our Soldiers, no matter where they may be.
