Jabba,

I remember now you said this was coming up. Hope the surgery went well, and she heals up fast! Smiley

Most importantly, prayers from us that this gives her the relief she is hoping for. angel
Maybe you'll even gain your passenger back for longer stretches. Smiley

GETTING A TENDON RELEASE!?!

buddy, i've got a dirty mind, when you said it's from a hip replacement, and then tension on a tendon, i just kinda think you should take it easy on her for a while!!  god, go for a cycle ride or something!  leave the poor lady alone for once!!  that go forth and multiply thing was for after the great flood, relax now!!  put some new chrome on the bike, polish the "head" lights instead!!

geez!!

(she'll be fine.  let us know of the outcome!!)

I apologize for not posting an update.

She got thru surgery fine.

She's pretty gimpy, as the cut the tendon that is used to lift her leg.  That's the one that was hurting her.  I guess about 10% of the people who get hips replaced, have pain resultant to this tendon.  The doc says he does 2-3 of these releases a month.   It helps 90% of them.

She's already encouraged, as she was in bed last night, and she pulled her leg way up... and she said, even though she had to do it with her hands... it was way more comfortable, and less tight than it has been since her replacement.

So... we're cautiously optimistic.

Yeah... I call her my O'lLady.  And she is.  Nothing derogatory there at all.  She is the love of my life, and we're approaching our 19th anniversary.  I am oftem humbled by how lucky I am.

I think ALL of us marry up.

 Cheesy

Jabba,

Glad to hear every thing went well...you sound like my twin. My wife hand surgery last week and her Doctor came out of the surgery and told me not to "touch" her for a month...and then winked! :-)

She told me, my wife told her to say that! ha ha

Anyways, glad to hear she is doing well...

Jabba:

You and me is goin to have to have a talk.

Married less than 20 years and calling her your Ol'Lady.
Shame on you.
Is she older thna you are?   Might excuse it iff she is, cause then she could say she has to put up with snot nosed brat.     Evil    Devil made me say that.

I've had my wife around twice as long as you plus some and she don't get called the Ol'Lady.     My mom was the old lady.

Anyway, thanks for the update, glad it went well.  I didn't have to have that done after my hip replacement.    They do them different now than several years ago.

Praying for a quick and complete recovery.      She will have to exercise that leg for awhile.

See ya Jabba, no go tell your wife, I love you mom.  LOL.

She knows I call her that, and it doesn't bother her a bit.

I am 32 days older than she is.

Jabba

Well, there finally is something different beween us! For us it will be 41 years in December, and I think if I called her that, she'd perform surgery on me, but it wouldn't be tendons she is releasing. I'd be singing in the Soprano section! 2funny 2funny 2funny

But then again, I'm a lot older than her. She's only 39! Wink

Hope your better half heals well and quickly! Smiley
