Got a call from Cint just now, he drove himself 200 miles to the hospital for a check after his deer incident, they told him he didn't have to come back, he droove home and is cleared to do what he want's except fly yet  because of the collapsed lung he suffered.  He is very happy to be comfortable enough  to be mobile, although he has to spend most of his time in his recliner due to his broken ribs.  Told him that a recliner is not a bad place to be.  He is back on line, expect to hear from him soon.  Hoser  cooldude

I also talked to him and was sorry to hear he may give up ridin'   Sad  I can't say that I blame him with the two horrific crashes he's had in less than a year.

I want to thank all of you for your thoughts and prayers. I am recovering a lot faster than I ever expected.  The doctors have released me completely except for flying.  They wanted me to wait 2 more weeks before flying on account of having had the collapsed lung.  I have booked a flight for Tuesday, Oct. 5 for Kansas City.  It will be great to get back home and be with my family again.  This was really hard on them since I was 1800 miles from home and they couldn't be here with me.

Again I want to thank all of you for your support and prayers.

Also could not believe the number of cards I received from everyone.

Good on ya Clint!  Keep the faith brother and mend up completely.

Good to see you posting again.  I'll try to keep the jokes to a minimum for your ribs sake.

It's good to hear from you, Clint.

I always hate to hear someone say, "collapsed lung."  Quite honestly it just sounds much too passive for the amount of resulting pain.

Get well, Clint.

I could not agree more Carl...The most pain I've ever been in  Sad  That tube as big as a water hose stickin' through the rib cage about 10 inches is something I hope I never feel again.

Thank God I was not aware of the tubes in my lung.  They kept me completely under during that time.  I had two of them in me, one for the collapsed lung and they had to put in a second one to drain the blood out of my lung a day or two after getting into the hospital.  Fortunately I was still out when they pulled them out too.

Clint, you missed all the fun (hurt) when they pull those tubes out.

Been there, done that and still have the 'T' shirt, but the shirt is too small now.

Ride on Clint, ride on.
