I found this picture at the Woodys Fairings site.  I want to know what size and type of front wheel this bike has on it?  Cant tell if it has a matching rear wheel or not.  I love the larger front wheel look.  Anybody?

Taking a SWAG, that looks like an RC Components VTX1800 front wheel.

That's an absolutely gorgeous bike, all the way around!  (Sorry I don't have any info on the front wheel.)

the owner of that bike posted pics of it on the general board a while back.

Not sure how to search it up... but you could post on the gen board and SOMEONE would know.

Hi,

That is my bike and you are right it is a 21" front wheel.  You cn get it at BikersImage.com.  It is all bolt on and needed no mods to the front fender.  I do not have a matching back wheel. Im still saving for it but they said they can make it.

How much did the front run you?  They carry several companies, what make is that wheel or can any of the companies they list work?  What size tire is the front?  Any mods needed for the front brake setup?  I have a VTX front fender so that may be an issue.  Any more pics for me to see?

Look under the METRIC cruisers section.  I have the Duce 5.  I had to call them because they dont list the Valk.  I asked for a 23" front but they could only make a 21".  It was 1000 dollars but they were the only place I could find that would make wheels for the Valk.  I looked for a year and called everyone.  I would pay the money again, it makes a big diffrenence.  The tire size is 120/70-21.  Also you need to ask for a 21x3.5 not the 21x2.15 or it wont look right. I added a few pics.

No mods were made to the front brakes.  I had to use the original rotors.  I polished the center of the rotors, they came out great.  I think I got the idea of polishing the front end from you?  I cant remember but the fork tubes are also polished.  I do have a raked 6 degree tripple trees.  I did have the wheel on before I had the trees. I think it looks better with the rake.  It looks like you have 6degree trees on yours?

What are the differences in handling with the rake compared to stock?

It rides smoother on the straights.  I lowered the back as well. I put 11.5 springs on the back.  To tell the truth I dont notice too much of a difference from stock. I was looking for the look.

Is the front fender stock?  Looking at it, it looks stock, but then again, it doesn't.  Maybe it's the paint.

Yes the front fender is stock.  No mods were needed to fit the big wheel.  Everything bolted on like it was stock.

It may have been me.  I polished my forks last winter and posted pics and things of what process I used.  Yes I have Daryls rake kit also.  That was last years project.  Awesome addition.  Did they give you an idea of cost for the rear wheel?  I really love how much different it makes the bike look. Im going to give them a call next week.  Thanks for the pics.  Bike looks great.

They look like Tsukayu Jumbo Strongs with the old style hinge to me.....but I could be wrong.
