So... My 24/7 Oncall for work finally ended and went straight into nasty COLD WET rainy days here for a while...

And then this morning, I got up...

Sun was shining

Temp in the mid 50's, 'sposed to max out in the upper 60's...

All excuses were gone.

I got on and started riding, didn't even know where, just rode... Ended up at a favorite gun store, browsed for a while, but decided not to buy (Saving for my trip to the Arctic ocean next summer)

Did some quick calculations, and pointed 'er back towards home...

Ended up in a school parking lot near my house with the odometer looking kinda like this:

After a few laps around the parking lot, it looked more like this:

And eventually, it finally happened...

And then I had to stand back a bit... Even after all those years, miles and neglect, the countless times she's been ridden hard and put away wet, the countless times she's NOT been washed, she's still quite a fine looking motorcycle, if I do say so myself!

And then, I had to pull over for one more shot on the way home...

Had to get this shot taken today:

To match the shot I took almost 10 years ago when I bought the bike brand new:

And now, to celebrate... I think I'm gonna go for a ride! Wink

Serk!
Congratulations on the "new" bike.  cooldude
Taking a pic of the starting odometer....  What a great idea!
Wish I did the same!  Mine was 2xxx something when I took her for the test ride for live.... Wish I knew the exact #. A simple pic would have done the trick.  Smiley

Looking forward to see my bike's sister hit 200k! Ride Safe!
