This really sucks.......

My wife got home from her business trip this evening.  I tell her "Guess what, where heading back to Bellaire for Inzane next summer".  She say "Great....when is it?".  I say "Last week of July".  She says "Harry (her son) is getting married on July 29th".

My first inclination was to say "I hope you have a wonderful time at the wedding, we will certainly miss you at Inzane".....but I chickened out.  Bummer of an evening............

Connie - I wish that were a possibility, after all I also thought that June was the traditional month for weddings.  Her son (my stepson) have had our moments...I guess this will be his leaving the house present!

Don - I suspect I now know why you have managed to stay happily married for so many years.

Garfield -  I like the way you Tennessee guys think!

Ed - I actually considered it. Fly from Traverse City Thursday evening to Minneapolis then back Friday evening after the wedding...but after all that Phyllis would still be pissed at me!  No way out!

If InZane was held now, would we all need one of these?

yeppers The Badger is a nice way to go. Though the ~4 hrs. is about the same amount of time needed to ride around the top and take the bridge-you can kick back for a nap on deck (they have recliners) or inside in the reclining chairs in the TV lounge and get something to eat while aboard. Really helps you refresh and save time in the long run. For scheduling reasons Vicki & I took the Badger across after Daryl from XF6 brought my bike up earlier in his big trailer. I do recommend it for something different.

Heyyy...I like the kickers on that Valkski-doo. Maybe a SuperValkski-doo mod would lighten it up some too.  And you could definitely use your Gerbings!  Grin

That weekend happens to coincide with the Traverse City Film Festival. Maybe you'll see somebody famous! And it's the weekend of the AuSable River Festival in Grayling.  Stuff to do, stuff to do....places to ride...fun to be had Smiley

That Valk-ski looks like someone really modified the F-6 engine into a V-6.  Great engineering feat.  Hope it didn't lose any performance.

I found this post on page 25 .... shouldn't this be like a "sticky" so everyone is aware of it especially the "newbies" ?? Give people more time to plan for it.
Just saying .........

About the same as last year.
$89 for double queen in the right wing (if you're staying all 4 days and while they last)
They bumped the King suites a bit ($5 or $10, can't remember offhand).  But anyone that stayed in one knows they are sooo worth it.  I think they normally go for something like $350.

This will be my third year as a Valk owner and my first year at InZane.  I was just wondering if there is anything you would suggest we bring with us.  We have a trailer and saddlebags.  We live in MI, so traveling isn't an issue.

Can't wait!    Cheesy

We had an awesome time at IZX and had planned on attending IZXI, but just found out one of our kids has planned a wedding that is in direct conflict.   Sad.  We met up with some great people last year on the way to and in Bellaire and had hoped to meet up with those same ones again.  Hopefully we can get together for one or two Pow Wows this year,  great people!

Jeez, now that I've decided I want to go, I'm wondering if registration has opened yet. I thought it was the first part of January.

Any news? Undecided

Sorry for the misunderstanding.  I guess I could have stated it better.  Our first target was 15 January.

The staff members who do the real work are scrambling to make our second target.

Soon.

We discussed it.  One or more of the staff members thought it would be interesting to open as soon as it's ready (rather than wait a few days for pre-opening announcements) and let the interest and board chatter do the announcing.

Have you registered?

Just got registered. Can't wait for another memorable week of fun "up north". Not sure if this is the place to be asking, but we were wondering how we get the right people placed in the adjacent rooms to our King suite.

You must have seen it almost as soon as I opened it.  Your post time here is within minutes of when it went "live" very early this morning.

I put up the hint post shortly after it went live.  LOL... it didn't take long to get out, did it?
