The Terrell Christmas Parade is Saturday, Dec. 11 at 10am.  The parade will cover about 2 1/2 miles through the thriving metropolis of Terrell.  The DFW/East Texas (and anybody else) VRCC is participating in the parade.  I know of 4 valks, 1 vtx1800 and a Rebel 250 trike that are already committed to ride.  Everybody else is welcome also.  We will meet at my clinic at 9a sharp to decorate the bikes and then ride to the staging area.  809 W. Nash is the address.  One block north of hwy 80 across from the Sonic.  Turn north on Pacific in front of the Sonic. You will immediately see a tan two story building with red brick trim.  We will be in the parking lot.  Come early for donuts and water.  Don't drink coffee.  You can bring your own if you would like.  Potties will be open.  I am not aware of the "official" club Christmas party that was discussed for that afternoon but we can make decisions later on that.  Parade will be over by 11:30am.  More details later as they become available.  Theme this year is the "Music and Magic of Christmas".  Cannot throw candy or have a Santa.  Any questions post here or my cell is 469-595-3222.

OK, everybody has eaten turkey and leftovers til we are all sick of it.  Now it's time to think about Christmas celebrations.  One that's coming up fast is the parade.  I have committed us to ride in the parade.  We need to begin plannin on how many will participate, so can we get a tentative headcount?  Do I need to make plans for the lunch/afternoon or is there something else in the works?  Just want the day to be a good one so, come on, chime in with the yes I'm gonna ride and what you would like to have happen in the afternoon.  Lookin forward to ridin with you. As said before, will be "Santa" that day at other places.  Would love to be there - Terrell is a neat town - but other duties call.

Thanks for putting this together, Doc.

Looks like it's gonna be a big day with several VRCC members riding along with some other strays.  If you have questions, post here or call my cell 469-595-3222. L

Weather forecast for Saturday is for 69 and partly sunny.  Should be a great day for a parade and a ride.  Hope you are planning on being a part of this. L

Sounds like fun, but I can't get out of town. Too much to do before Christmas. I do plan on making the Toys for Tots run in Texarkana Sunday.

John, you need to be in Terrell by nine.  Might want to think about leaving a little earlier. L
