Heh...washed mine a few days ago...and then yesterday ran through about 20 miles of construction on I-30 where they were using the wet saws to cut out concrete segments...
Go a few hundred feet, splash though that slick yet incredibly sticky concrete/water slurry, go a mile, splash through some more etc...
Actually had to stop and clean the windshield after that.
That'll learn me!

Houdini, That looks like a daily commuter in EC somewhere. Rain/ice/salt/snow whatever gotta go to work bike. I don't think that bike has any carb problem from sitting to long. They like to use salt a lot in the winter and if that is your only transportation that's what it will look like after 10 years. I 'll bet it still runs good.
