We had ( 6 ) Valkyrie's ride today it would have been ( 7 ) but Big Al did'nt make it.
1...Dubsvalk ( Bernie ) Tourer
2....Misunderstood ( Dave ) Tourer
3.....Flasher ( Paul ) Tourer
4....Lucky 13 ( Gordon ) Interstate
5....Smooth Rider ( Greg ) Interstate
6...Smokin'joe....BADMOJO

Pretty cold when we hooked up with temps in the mid 20's it did make it into the lower 40's later in the day. Picture below is end of Rattlesnake Ridge.

This area has some outstanding rock formations I'll have to return sometime and take some more photo's.When we got here it seemed we was in a hurry so I did'nt get many pictures today  :-\

We lost Dubsvalk and Smooth Rider here at the bridge that crosses The Little South Fork River.

Picture from the bridge of The Little South Fork River.

Just so you know ....Yes....Rattlesnake Ridge , Kentucky

Gordon , Paul , Dave and I made a ride out of it today with 250 miles with most of those miles coming on the two lane twisties in the Appalachian Mountains of Kentucky. We made our way into Monticello , Kentucky for lunch and by then it was time to head back towards God's Country of The Great State Of Tennessee....I hate these short days and wish I could get a clean shot at the person that makes us roll our clocks back  >:(

All and all a outstanding ride today with some great riders ....Below...." The Money Shot " taken at the foot of Rattlesnake Ridge.

I've seen alot of people that thought they were cool , but then again Lord I've seen alot of fools.

Good ride report.  That last photo of BadMojo looks like it might have been a bit "nipply" out there!

Thanks for the comments  :cooldude:  With the heated gear the 20's are very doable( jacket liner and gloves ) when it hit's the teen's the pants and socks are sweet as well....We use to do the 20's without the heated gear WTF was we thinkin'  ???

Sometimes the best communication happens when you're on separate bikes.

Good to hear from you Mary  :) I hope y'all will ride down to West Virginia and join us in June. Don ( Highbinder ) and I will be doing a ride up to WV when possible sometime soon to firm up the dates and motel information...Most likely dates will be June 10-11-12 or June 17-18-19  :cooldude:

Being from W.Va. this is a ride I don't want to miss.  Hopefully we will get to ride up to scope things out before June!  Today is wet, dreary and cold outside.  I washed the Valk after getting back from our Big South Fork ride; got in about 200 miles.  I think I will go down and put some wax on it after I eat a little breakfast.

Joe, my wheels are clean now so can I ride with you guys again!? ;D
I rode the Valk around the neighborhood to dry it off and my hands were blue when I got it back in the garage.

I will admit that it bother's me to see a machine as beautiful as the Valkyrie with nasty black wheels  :(    It's not cool if it don't shine  :cooldude:
