I've changed bearings, replaced o-rings, checked and lubed shaft, checked and lubed all splines, etc.  Everything has gone fine - but I have a question.  Does this picture look right?  I confess I don't remember, but it looks like the rim should go a bit further into the the unit.  Everything has gone together fine - but I wanted an experienced opinion on this.  Thanks!  Al

Yes, many people think that line on the wheel hub should go in further. As long as you have the axel and spacer and brake caliper plate in properly and torqued  the axel nut VERY FIRST before anyting else, then the wheel is mated properly with the final drive, theres no adjustment....looks normal to me.  But I stress......if  the axle nut was not torqued first before anything else than proper alignment is not assured

It looks about right.  I know what your talking about.  It looks like the raised ridge on the wheel should be even with the black dust shield, but I went out and looked at mine and it looks about the same as yours.  I measured 3/16 of an inch from the raised ridge to the dust sheild.  If everything else fits up, I'd say you have it.  Someone else may chime in otherwise ---- but???  Mine has been that way since I installed the car tire and probably was before.  I just didn't really notice it.

Definitely torqued the axle first!  Followed the manual and everything I could find in Shoptalk!  Priceless information.  Tightened and torqued the four bolts on the drive unit last.  Thanks guys!
