It is with the deepest regret that I inform the VRCC family that Howie passed away at home in Aurora, TX at 7:00 this evening.  

Those of you who knew Howie know how much he will be missed.  Those of you who didn't know him missed a really good one.  

Please keep his wife, June, and their son, Howie Jr., in your thoughts and prayers.

Services are pending.

Prayers for Howie's family.  I also never met him but understood he was one of the Valkyrie "Grand Masters". I truly hope he is now riding the twisties with his old buds in Heaven.

I met him one's (leaving for InZane X the next day i believe) and was really looking forward to keeping up on the Valkyrie project that he was working on. He will be missed! Prayers to his family from us. ~The Tolboom's

Howie's funeral will be at 2:00 this Saturday 18 December 2010 at the Coker-Hawkins Funeral Home in Decatur, TX.

I'm so sorry to hear of his passing. I never had the honor to meet Howie and I fill that was a lose on my part. My thoughts and prayer go out to his family and friends. May God's peace be with them at this time. I'm sure there's a valkyrie in heave for him.
