Some of the colder temps' were recorded in the Mid 90's, makes a feller wonder about when

this Global Warming thing is gonna start to kick in.

If not, I am going to relocate to a warmer area.

You know for retirement and all.

i remember when it was -55 in couderay wi.  it felt like just another day in paridise here!!

When I was stationed at Loring AFB back in the early 60's, I can recall temps of -35 to -40 a many times. One of the things we were told was to never relieve ourselves out on the flightline when the temps were below zero.  A couple guys didn't listen and almost paid a dear price for it. The scuttlebut about one was that he wasn't circumcised when he went in the hospital, but was a week later when discharged. They apparently told him he was fortunate that's all he lost....it was -33 that day. A rather painful way to move into the soprano section of the choir I'd say.
