And a History Maker
What a Great Gatherin, with some of the BEST folks on the planet!!!!!!!
FB and I want to thank each and everyone of you for coming and making this the Biggest and Best Gatherin' of the Fools EVER!!!!
We had an XXXXXtra large time, and hope who came did as well.
This year we wanted to do something extra, and had a 50/50 drawing, Silent Auction for some goodies, and a raffle.
The money made from this is going to the Texas Lions Camp.  TLC.
This camp is for kids with sight imparment, physical disabilities, and juvenile diabetes.  The kids are given the chance to learn and grow, deal positively with their situation,  and Just have a Good time at camp.  ZERO cost to the kids and their family.
100 % of the money collected goes to the camp for the kids..... not for administration or other overheads....That is covered by the Lions Clubs members dues and contributions.... All monies from outside the Lions goes straight for the kids..100%!!!!!!
I am pleased to say that because of all of your generous giving and donations, the Partakers of this years GOTF will be sending a check to the Lions Camp for Kids in the amount of....$2500.00
Wow!!!!! I am honored and proud to know and be associated , and to call Friend, such a wonderful group of caring people.
A VERY SPECIAL THANK YOU TO  my much younger and better looking brother Gary from New Mexico.  Gary won the 50/50 drawing, and generously donated it back to the kids.  The amount was SUBSTANTIAL....
Thank you Gary
  Thank You All

It was my first time to attend... In fact this is my first Post!

I can't believe I live in Friendswood and just found out about this annual gathering last year!
And yes ... this is the friendliest, most generous group of people around.

Thanks so much to Hotglue and Flamingo Babe for great food and hospitality, it was awesome!

Thanks FB and HotGlue for your most excellent hosting skills! Makes me look good just having the good sense to hang out with you guys and the good folks that converged at this year's Gathering. Such a LARGE time! Good to see so many old friends and meet a bunch of new folks too!

Just one suggestion for next year - to go sack lunches (benefiting your charity) would make leaving a little less traumatic and curb the appetite for next year's Q by one meal. I love you guys.

A few more pics here... ~Jeff

Willow and I made it home this afternoon.  It was 28 degrees when we left Andover, KS this morning and a whopping 38 degrees when we arrived home.  At that time, I was happy I was to be in the car, but I know it was awefully cold for Willow!  Those Kansas winds were blowing full force today, as well!

HG & FB...Thank you so much for everything!  The food was awesome!  The fellowship was great!  I am thrilled that we were finally able to make it down there for the GOTF!  I hope to do it again, as I did have a wonderful time!  It was great to be able to sit around Thursday night with y'all too!  I can't tell you enough how much I enjoyed it and what a great time I had!  Thank you again so very, very much!  You guys rock!

It was great to see friends again, new and old!  It was good to be able to put faces with names and get to know alot of those that attended.  Thanks to everyone that made us feel so welcome!
