Sad  aaron is in osu medical center and surgery is expected to start at 11am EST.  for those who are so inclined, say a prayer, send good thoughts, or carma, his way today and for his family, surgon, and medical staff.
he had lukemia at 7yrs old and survived it with lots of chemo, radiation, and a host of other things. it seems all the things they used to "cure" him has caused this brain tumor.  (it has been found in many other patients who had the same treatment years ago).
they said he would probably never have children, but he is now 37yrs old and has 3 wonderful kids, and 1 on the way!  his wife is beside herself with worry of raising these kids on her own.
the tumor is 15mm in dia. and sitting on the left side of his brain. the dr. is hopeful, but it is brain surgery.
thank you all, my VRCC family.

aaron is out of surgery   cooldude (i got this at 2:30) he can move his arms and legs which was a major concern.  dr. said it went well, but it was firmly atached to the brain.  Undecided  he isn't 100% sure if he got every cell, and it could grow back. (we are trusting God that he got it all)  now we wait for the results to see if it was cancerous.  Roll Eyes  he is now recovering in ICU.
thank you all for your continued prayers for him and his family

Praise the LORD. I am sorry I just read this, and missed praying for him earlier, but just did now and will continue to lift him and all of you in prayer for awhile. Thank you and God bless you for having the faith to post your prayer request. God still does hear and answer prayers.

HE seems that he is a living miracle as of now.

All that and another hurdle.

Just that the Lord is with him already.

Lord make your face to shine down upon him.

Your countenance to be towards him.

Give him peace and blessings from above.

Your child is in need.

Amen

Thoughts and prayers for him and his family. I lost a brother-in-law to a tumor last years , he was in his late 60s and had other health problems also.  Pray everything works out for him.

got this email from my brother

Wow, what a whirlwind 24 hrs this has been.  Aaron had his surgery at 11 am yesterday and that went extremely well and the Dr. was smiling ear to ear when he came to the waiting room to tell us about the surgery and how well Aaron endured it.  We spent the day until 9 pm with him and then came home for some much needed rest.  I just talked to Aaron and he is shocking the staff at the  OSU medical center.  He is doing fantastic.  They can't believe anyone who has had his type of surgery could recover so quickly.  He just had a MRI to check his brain but they have taken out the catheter and are getting him breakfast.  The ER Dr. said he will bypass step down and the are going to put him in a regular room right after breakfast.  Aaron sounded completely normal when I talked with him this morning and we will be headed down to spend the day with him soon. Your prayers on his behalf have been very much appreciated and they have obviously worked.  I can't thank all of you enough for praying for Aaron.  He still has a long way to go before he is completely normal but he couldn't be doing better.  Please continue to remember Aaron and his family as he recovers and please remember to give thanks to God for the miraculous way everything is going for Aaron.  PTL

thank you all so much!
