Sounds good and I'll be in your hood.

Name the motel.

Al

From my original post.

Motel to be decided once I've had a chance to visit a few and get a rate.

We've stayed in the Days Inn right at Warwoman Road it's decent with a Mexican restaurant on site . Also a quickie market and liquor store just across the street. With 10 rooms or better you should get them down to around $35.00 -$40.00 a night.

I recommend the camarones diablo.

I just booked a room for Friday and Saturday night.  I have to work on Monday so I will be breaking off from the group on Sunday to head home.  The way it sounded they only have a few more rooms left.  Nikki and I are looking forward to this ride.

Pre ride ride...

If anyone wants to meet up at Clayton somewhere around noon or two on Friday and go on
a pre-ride ride up towards 281 and hit a couple of nice roads (Walnut Creek and
Elijay Road in North Carolina) let me know.

Three hours is about how long it would take:    http://tinyurl.com/44kjkqp       <-------- google map of route...

Both those roads are outstanding. Walnut Creek is my favorite but they're both very good.

Mike,

I should be up in Clayton sometime before 1:00.  Do you still want to meet up and ride?

Give me a shout at 770-722-7569

Thanks

Before I forget.

On Saturday evening in the parking lot a non Valkyrie rider said to me me "these are a really nice bunch of guys".

To which I replied "Yep, they ride Valkyries and have nothing to prove to anyone else.".

I wish my camera was on when I was behind you... Nikki did a lot of holding her arms out
like wings... she might have been stretching, but it looked like she was just having fun...
