Hey.

I've been riding my '99 Valkyrie standard for about 2 years .  I split my time between Pasadena and Daphne, Al - its a work thing.  This winter I broght the Valk to Texas and have been enjoying myself taking care of a few winter projects.  I plan on keeping her here and spent some time riding the hill contry this spring

Although I do the basics stuff myself, I don't trust myself to wade off into any too deep.  I would like to get the old girl tuned up properly and was looking for some recommendations for a good Valk-man in the Houston area.  As far as I know the bike is stock with a 6 degree TW, K&N with Cobra 6X6 exhaust. The carbs may be running a bit lean.  I would like to find someone who can optimize overall preformance.

Any suggestions would be appreciated

You can attend one of the Houston area wrench parties, and get all the help you need to learn how to do it yourself.  Wink   There's several talented folks wandering around these here parts  Cheesy

He's still a probationary Texan -- he was thinking that since he can now say y'all with a straight face, he was off probation.  But he's still got a lot to learn!!

He's a "Wizard" with Valks -- pun intended!!

Wizard - someone who is dazzlingly skilled in any field, one who practices magic or sorcery, possessing or using or characteristic of or appropriate to supernatural powers;

Do these describe him fairly??
