Kuryakyn chrome levers

Just put mine on today...they look great!! Simple change-out.
They are considerably shorter than the stock ones but seem
to work fine. If you're kinda small-handed they might make
for a little extra reach when clutching or braking.

shorter than stock? mine are about 1" longer. did you get the wide blade, adjustable ones for a GL1800 gold wing? they will adjust for your reach. set on #5 and the clutch will engage a lot sooner than the stock levers. there is a tab you have to hack saw off (easy).

I have, I guess, large hands; but the OEM levers made me uncomfortable. In a panic situation I didn't think I could reliably get to them. I put on the Kury adjustable set for GL1800 and now I hit the clutch and brake without thinking. Dialed at 4 for brake and 3 for clutch. Lube the bushings or the brake light might not extinguish (a problem for cruise control) and maybe build up the tab that hits the brake light switch. I still flick the brake lever with my finger after release just to make sure, and am thinking of putting in a beeper or LED on the dash.

+1 on the GL-1800 adjustable wide blades. Much improvement over stock. Great comfort and function
Wow, I paid $35.00 plus shipping, just several months back, on sale at Cruiser Customizing.

No, I didn't get the adjustable. Went for a ride today and
they feel fine to me. Maybe I'll try the adjustables next time.
