All I could think about was my Favorite Line from the Movie " Armageddon "

Oscar : I tell you one thing that really drives me nuts, is people who think that Jethro Tull is just a person in a band.

Psycholgist : Who is Jethro Tull?

There was a guy that played flute in my daughters flute section in high school.  He was excellent!  Very talented flutist.  It ticks me off to think how many people feel that guys that play flutes are sissies.  Funny thing, those guys are usually in the percussion section, drums, one of the easiest instruments to play.  I know they were in the percussion section, I played flute too.

playing drums is easy? maybe I could try that 'cause I can't carry a tune with a carlile crane.

I think guys that play flutes (flautists) are sissies, but then I only live to tick Alph off.   Grin

I'm not real familiar with Jethro Tull, but the song below is one of my favourites and the only rock song I know of that showcases the flute. The flute is played by an obsure musician by the name of Ian Anderson.

That's who the band hired after Mr. Tull retired.
