Frank Buckles, the last living U.S. WW I veteran, has passed at the very sprightly age of 110. Mr. Buckles lied about his age to get into the Army and served as a driver and warehouse clerk; that doesn't diminish his service. He was in the Philippines when the Japanese invaded and spent three years as a Civilian POW. In the past few years, Mr. Buckles has worked to have the WW I Monument in D.C. restored and rededicated to all WW I Veterans not just the D.C. Veterans,
