I'm looking to replace stock handlebars on a 99 IS with 1.25 fat bars, obviously necked down for grips and clamp. Will be drilling and hiding wiring in the bars on both sides. Any suggestions/ experience with a specific manufacturer and model would be appreciated. I like the stock geometry or something close.

Not all handlebars are equal to the stock Honda handlebars.

Very important is that they are strong enough to allow picking up the bike with just one end of the bars.

If the handlebars are not up to this task you should not use them!

Same thing goes for the risers!

try these two sites for handlebar info
you are gonna be hardpressed to find bars with rise and pullback close to stock, especially in 1.25"

Show Chrome makes nice one-piece handlebars - You can get their stuff from most suppliers...Dennis Kirk, JC Whitney, J&P Cycles etc....
