The regular schedule for a wrench party would have it in conflict with GOTF, so let's push it one week to the 9th or 10th.  (I've heard rumors that lots of final drives need servicing...)

The regular schedule for a Dinner Meeting would have it on Thursday 14 April.  Do we want to meet on a weeknight or do another weekend ride/meeting?

If we decide on a weekend ride/meeting, do we want to make it the 23rd or 24th?

Or, do we want to get serious about the ride part and the eat part and meet everyone for GearJammer's Bluebonnet/Fried Bacon lunch at 11 o'clock on the 16th?  (It's only 220 miles from Frisco to Snook.  Four hours ought to do it, so KSU 0700?)  Of course, we could get really serious, KSU at 0300, and meet everyone at 0800 in Hempstead before the ride...  It's only 255 miles from Frisco to Hempstead...

The group could ride down and enjoy Parent's weekend at A&M with me.  I will be going to Snooks for lunch between events in College Station.

As for the wrench party and final drives, shouldn't we do that BEFORE the ride to GOTF?  angel

We can offer our place for the wrench party next Sat the 19th if needed.  I do have 1 jack (no adapters), garage, most tools.  Might need a torque wrench.  We've been spoiled lately with all the wonderful grub at the last few wrench parties.  We would be roughing it.  Maybe a box of donuts.  Anything else would be bonus.  Just an offer.  If its bad timing or anyone else wants to thats fine also.  Just let me know so we can plan.

Due to lack of interest, I wont be hosting a wrench party on the 19th.  However is there is some interest for the 26th, I might be able to be talked into rescheduling it.

Start a new thread and see if it generates interest.  The topic title may not have given you many reads.

I can host a Sunday Wrench Party in April.

Dragonbrethe is for sale, so I guess we should confirm with Redneck and Hollywood they still want to host in May.

Saturday events are damn near impossible for me right now.

Rainmaker was putting a bluebonnet route together for us, JC was talking about a picnic ride, I am thinking we should pursue that.

The Bluebonnet peak season is supposedly in April and Ennis is the official site of the Texas Bluebonnet Festival and trails.

But, my schedule in April is busy.  At GOTF on the 3rd, working on the 10th, at A&M for parent's weekend on the 17th and it's Easter on the 24th.  So now we're into May.

There is a Bluebonnet Festival the weekend of April 16th in Ennis as well.

I will lay out the ride but can't be on it.

Looks like the DFW April Ride will be to Snook. I already got my schedule rearranged.
