Greeetings! I am in the research phase of the supercharger project on my 99 tourer. I see very limited information on the internet. Lamonster website is not there for some reason. Can anybody tell me the hard facts. 1. where do I get the best system. 2. what is it REALLY going to cost. I dont have a huge amount of money, but will be considering a better exhaust than the stock I now have. I will be doing all the work myself. My engine has 40, ooo miles on it. What else do I need to acquire? . I have read everything that is on the internet. and these questions are not answered clearly. Thanks!

This is your guy in the US, I bought mine from him. About a year ago the kit was $4200.  Pretty much complete to get you going. You will have to change your exhaust from stock. Below is his web site and below that I have some picks of the kit I had, but the oil cooler and gauge doesn't come with it. Also I still have a split timing belt cover I had for my charger I was going to put on eBay if you are interested. The pics in my Photobucket is just a reference for the charger some of the stuff is just extras. If I recall correctly the owner of MagnaCharger is Bill, call him and he will send brochure to you if he is still there. Hope this helps.

What kind of mpg do you get running the 'charger?  Wow that must be a fun toy to have.

Do they still make those?
I have one of the last kits Viking sold. But it's missing the supercharger. I loaned it out and never got it back.

Not sure if they still make them.

Don't think BDG are doing these any more, a mate bought the test bed Valk they were using.
Will be back home next week and can check if you wish.

Kinda, it's a long story. One I'm not to proud of. I knew in my heart I'd never see it again but... Well, it's a long story.

That austrailan kit looks nice. But I can't believe they sold many @ $22,000. I believe australian dollars are about the same as u.s. insanity! MAJOR ISSUE with supercharging is not being able to take out some timing. I'd love to do it too, but until we can come up with a way to retard timing without a dyna ignition, it's certain death for that reliable motor we love so much. Oh and nothing is ever fast enough......old farts..... crazy2

I only paid Around $3,000 for mine. Though I didn't get a carb with it because I was going to fuel inject it.
