Not really practical for me ....but looks like a great conversation piece.
Plus, I do take the dog out after dark....sometimes. I would wonder
about the clip always locking in place, though.

Saw this a few years ago, and thought it was really cool too.

Some things that would make it impractical would be you have to keep a round chambered, and the topslide can't be cycled easily in case of a misfire or jam.  Keeping a round chambered isn't that big of a deal, but not being able to quickly clear a round could ruin your day!

Just give me the glock that they built it around.  I don't need the extra step of unfolding it before I pull the trigger.   Smiley

I'm sure our idiotic lawmakers here in California would prosecute me just for watching that video.

If ya'll think that is cool, Kel-Tec introduced a new self defense/police/combat shotgun.  It's called the KSG and has 2, count them 2, 7 round mag tubes and the ability to carry one in the chamber for 15 rounds of 12 gauge hate and discontent!   Evil  It's a pump action bullpup design that bottom ejects so it's easily fired from the left or right shoulders.  In the loading/ejection port there is a switch that allows you to change magazines.  You can have buckshot in one, slugs in another and flip back and forth as necessary.  Has a rail on top so you can mount your fav optic plus M4 style flip up backup sights.  It also has another rail underneath so you can mount a forward grip and a light/laser, if you want.  There's built in front and rear sling loops on BOTH sides of the weapon.  Last I heard it was supposed to be available in August/September for about $800

Know what you mean but my excitement didn't go that far.   Wink  I'm already throwin' change in the jar savin up for one.  After posting about it last night, I was messing around on youtube and discovered a 10 minute video on it from Kel-Tec.  It's going to be made in black (obviously), coyote brown and green.  They took it to the SHOT Show and got a lot of feedback from law enforcement and other groups.  To their credit, Kel-Tec took the constructive criticism and did a little re-engineering.  Now the action release can be reached with the trigger finger, there are witness holes in the mag tubes and the trigger will reset if you pump the action with the trigger held back.  It didn't before and that was a major criticism.  Kudos to Kel-Tec for being responsive to their customers.  Too bad Big Red doesn't do that.
