IT’S A SMALL WORLD AFTER ALL!!!

Last weekend I visited my brothers in Crystal Lake ILL.  Brought the wife and kids down town to the Shed Aquarium and showed the kids where I was born and lived on Tripp Ave.  While talking to my brothers the previous night I found out that Walter Disney once lived at 2156 N. Tripp Avenue while we lived at 1946 N Tripp, just two blocks away!! 

Amazing how close we can be to “fame” and not even know it (well, if you didn’t include the 65 year difference)!! 

For those of you that might be interested, old Disney’s house is for sale.  I would have thought that there’d be a plaque saying “Walt slept here….” Or something to the effect, but there isn’t. 

It was nice to see that the neighborhood is so clean!!
