Looking for advice on a luggage rack bag.  Currently considering either the Big Bike Parts Bag (BIG-4603) or the Kuryakyn (KUR-4162) from the directline website but certainly open to other ideas.  Or, if someone has one they would like to sell…??

Also, looking for suggestions/ideas for a windshield pouch (or other type) of pouch for an I/S.  Don't need anything fancy or real expensive.. just something that will work well on the OEM windshield or perhaps somehow attach to the faring or tank.   Just looking for space for a pair or two of glasses and a garage door opener.   Thanks

Mr Bill,
There is a VRCC sponsor Talisman who makes tank bibs with a pouch.  You may want to check those out.  Just sayin....

Better to be judged by 12, then carried by 6.

I wouldnt blow a chunk of change on bike luggage myself. What we use is standard luggage from places like the Wal mart. Its a 1/5 of the price of mc specific stuff. We bought a 21" upright with rollers and a extended handle. It makes moving from the bike to hotel, etc alot easier. We can fit 12 days worth of clothes in it for the 2 of us. Its been threw several storms and always remained dry. There are even duffle bags with rollers now. I'm gonna get one that lays flat this year. $20 is the ave $$.

Cant remember what a I/S dash looks like but if you can separate the shield from the dash you should be able to get shield pouches. Hopnel make some and you can usually find some at little biker apperal stores. They will sag after a year but if they rest on the dash you maybe fine. HD makes some that fit close to the Tourer shield. Thats what I got on my b'wing. For better then anything out there. But they were $100.

I've used the Kury trunk bag with the rain cover for 5 years and kept everything dry. Can pack quite abit in it too.

I bought mine from this website. Lots of Valkyrie accessories at good prices and fast shipping.

Maybe you can find something that you like on there.

Can't speak for BBP or Kury bag, but I think the windshield pouch thing would not work on an IS.  I have a Very Large Leather Fanny Pack, that I cut the belt off of (left the loop if you find one with a loop) and I installed (Glued) computer hard drive magnets inside the corner pouches and it holds great.  The soft leather does not scratch the tank. I use it for covering the chrome on the tank in sunny days where it bothers me as well, and it is really useful.  When I get off I can just pull it and put it in the trunk/saddle bag or clip it to my belt if need be (but it really is kinda large).

Currently I use a magnetic tank bag and like it alot though I am narrowing my choices down on a tank bib.
