Just Riding The Many Storms Of Life

Does anyone know of a ride or wrench party or get together the first weekend in May??  I have a free weekend pass and will want to ride or wrench or just hang out somewhere with other members.  I won't have too many chances this summer to get out, so I'm gonna make the best of what I can get.

I'd loan my man cave out for a wrench party or even better in my mind, we find and ride a one lane bridge between Texas and the Oakies that takes us into close proximety of Wendy's Catfish in OK.  I got pics...

I thought about maybe going to Mena, Arkansas across the mountians back toward Oklahoma and then maybe back to Cowtown, or find another place to wander to.  Or maybe even Hot Springs, Arkansas.  I would like to do an out and back the same day.  Maybe even going out again the next day, but that is still up in the air.  I used to do long runs like this and come back the same day all the time.  Not many riders like doing that though, which I do understand.  I still have a little time left to get the funds up and make some plans.  What is this place you have pics of Houdini??  Heck, Wendy's sounds good too.  Shoot me an email at  stormrider065@yahoo.com.  Even a wrench party sounds good.   It doesn't matter much to me.  I need to depressurize after this move and do what I enjoy the most, in the wind or wrenching on Wall-E.

My chances are slim and none on that weekend - day before Mother's Day, which should rule out any overnight runs, Walt.  Trust me on that.   I can't take any chances and mess up my Inzane kitchen pass by being anywhere but with Mama on that weekend.

Might be a good time to go to Meer's cafe and get a Meer's burger if you're looking for a longer trip.

Where is this Meer's burger at anyway??? I'm always up for a good burger laugh  I understand about that weekend.  Not to worry, I will be able to haunt you in the future Grin.  Inzane is high priority at this time.  I wish I could make that one but have to wait till it gets closer.

Meer's is up in the hills outside Lawton, OK.  It's a 450 mile round trip.

That sounds like a good possibility.  Thanks.  If I can't find anyone to ride with me then I may just ask for the directions to both Wendy's and Meer's.  Maybe a lunch and dinner ride. OOOHHH YYEEAAAHH.  Cmon, ya'll have seen the size of me, I don't miss too many meals 2funny

The line at Meer's is about 30 deep outside the door most Saturdays.  YodaMaster and I rode up there one weekend when my son was stationed at Ft Sill.  The line was so long we gave it a pass and went back up during the week.

May 7/8.  I am really looking forward to this.  I haven't been on a decent ride since I first picked up Wall-E from Selma, Texas.
