I put the mighty Valk on fleabay, because I bought 05' venture. The venture is really comfortable but it sure doesn't have the horses of my I/S. Might be the first time I've had buyers remorse and sellers remorse at the same time.

the only reason i plan on ever selling my cycle is because it would cost more to keep it running. or, i'm too old to lift it off it's side peg.

With the way gas is going up...that day my come for a lot of us! Opposite for me. The more gas goes up the more I intend to keep the Valk. I can get 40 (or more) mpg easy riding to work and back. A lot of bikes get a LOT more than that but the Valk is paid for!

A lot of bikes get a LOT more than that but the Valk is paid for! Very well said. My I/S consistantly gets 40 MPG, because I try to ride with mileage in mind. There are a number of $45-$50K vehicles out there that gets near 40 MPG, but then, they are not paid for like the Valks you and I own and ride. I won't even mention the fun.

If you are riding and it is a must that you keep your eyes on the road, you are riding too fast.

Had an '09 Venture for only 6 months or so. Sold it to get the Valk. The RSV just didn't grab me. I ride with the guy who bought it and see my former bike a lot - looks great and all that, but I don't miss it at all.
