...sorry....didnt see yer question right away..

.....we bought this at Kohls bout 5 years ago on sale for 80 bucks I think...sure you seen em around....thing I like about it is some towns tell ya you cant have an "open fire" on the ground....this is technically up off the ground and has a screen you can put over it...plus with those round metal fire pits you put on the ground you can only see the top of the fire...unless its huge...then you get into using alot of wood....we get alot of use out of this puppy and really enjoy it...I called the DNR oonce to see if it was allowed when they have a no fire warning going due to no rain...lady said...no...you can use it...but..if you start a fire you will pay to have it put out......sounds fair to me ! ..  Cool

Timbr,

Looks like the one that I burned through last year.......I thought I saw a photo of a circular stone fire pit you built recently.......I am going to build one this year that will last a little longer.....trying to get some ideas.....

Thanks for getting back to me!

...Mark

....saw one last week that you might like. It was at a Menards, which is a huge box store like Depot or Lowes....it was a round metal tube about a foot tall, but the cool thing about it is it had an attachment of a steel rod about 2 feet tall with a round grille top attached to it. You slid it down into the side of the fire pit and if you wanted to use it to grille some burgers or what ever you could, and if you didnt want to use it at the moment, you could just swing it out of the way with one push. Another cool thing was , it was designed so you could stack finished stones of your choice around the metal tube, to make it look like it was made of stone. They wanted 150 bucks for it, I tried looking on their site on line but it wasnt listed.
