The "Government" confirmation of BL's DNA came out way too fast to have actually been done, after all BL's body was taken by Helo directly to an Aircraft Carrier, and from my years on a Carrier I don't think it is possible to come up with a DNA match that soon, besides who trusts the Government especially the CIA?
We didn't do a full DNA sequence... Only the unique markers from family heredity were used, which has a 99.9% probability.
GIVE THAT DOG A MEDAL
Accompanying the Navy Seals who completed the bin Laden mission was a faithful four-legged fighter. The trained military dog, either a German Shepherd or a Belgian Malinois, was attached to a human Seal and lowered from a helicopter into the compound. Wearing canine armor, he went along to sniff out hidden explosives or, if necessary, find a secret room of bin Laden's. (With the enormous
thickness of the walls, I don't think the dog could have detected BL.)
The SM team didn't just drop down, shoot, then leave with the body. They stayed there and searched the entire area for information and collected it. I'm sure they scoured that building for trap doors and secret compartments, more for sensitive al Qaeda info, than a hiding place.
