I have been running Works shocks for the last couple years, but they are not smooth enough for my wife. I have been thinking of going to air shocks. Any comments about comfort and handling? Any recomendations on the best make of air shocks?

I just got a set of 416 air shocks from one of the members. Haven't installed them yet. Going to put new oil seals in them before installing. If you sell the work shocks give me a hollow david91854REMOVE@yahoo.com  discard the obvious

I run the 416's and like them and so does SWMBO which is even more important. Very easy to up and down the pressure if she is on the back or if I am solo. Others on here don't like them though. It is really personal.

Resistance is futile; if less than 1 ohm.

I also have the 416's.  My wife likes the ride much better than when I had the original shocks on the bike.  I believe most of it is because it's easier to adjust them for the load: solo, 2-up, 2-up with stuff.  Some don't like them and will tell you you are better off with the heavy duty conventional shocks.  Personal preference.  I may add an onboard compressor sometime in the future.

I had 416s and found them harsh.  I now have the 440's and like them alot.  I've had the Works on my last bike.  if you'd like to swap my 440s for your works, I'd entertain that idea.
