Pulled a bonehead move and pulled the fuel off the T where it splits to the cabs. I have been fighting for two hours to get it back on but to no avail, hands too big to get in there. Will pulling the air box be any help getting to this bugger? If so any obstacles to look for? Any suggestions to get it back on before I screw it up more than it already is?

Take the tank off,
Take the air box off and you should be able to get to it. tickedoff Evil

That is the hard way to do it.

The following is the easy way if you have some patience.

Get a pair of LONG needle nose pliers, 1 straight one and 1 with a 45 bend in the teeth of it.    Be cool and have patience, you will get it back on.

I'd also add a goodly amount of regular old rubbing alcohol on both parts. It simply helps slip things together, especially when it comes to hose connections. Won't hurt anything, evaporates without leaving any residue.
