OK I'm here. Anyone else?

Here is where I am also.

Cool ride.  45F.  I may have dressed a bit more for Spring than was called for.  Nice ride anyway.

so I did miss my morning classes this morning. I woke up in the wrong state to make it. I am going to go teach my evening classes after I get my clothes changed and freshened up I'll head out that way.
So I didn't ride to work, but I'm about to. Having a divided work day is handy that way.

What a FANTASTIC day to ride in Houston!  Took an extra 13 mile route back from lunch.  The bike kept turning away from the office!

Well finally!!!! It seems spring may be here (again). I've put away my electric gloves twice this year already only to get them back out for rides in the 30's and 40's. 59 this morning and 75 this afternoon. I hope the warm weather is here to stay now.

It was a good ride this morning, the cages let me by and the riding smooth. I can't wait for the ride home this afternoon.

Anyone else ride to work today?

I only have about 9 more mornings to work, only about 5 more evenings, with a few more odd days...then my job will wrap up for the semester. I'm running out of commutes!
Oh well. The weekend after my job wraps up I'm going to hop on the bike and move to PA for the summer, so all is good. I'll still get to ride, just not every day like I do when I commute to work.

Today I am wearing my festive burgandy sweater vest, and a white short sleeve shirt with a nice burgandy pattern.  It's the college colors for IUP, and it is an IUP sweater vest (picked it up cheap at the Goodwill near IUP a few weeks ago). What is funny is that I was on my way commuting in this morning before I realized that I matched my motorcycle!

I wasn't suprised to find out that burgandy was the school color of IUP. Every college I've taken a degree from has had burgandy as one of the school colors. That does make coordinating with my motorcycle a lot easier apparently.

Oh yeah...I rode again today.  It was a little chilly but with my fat lady breathing heavy on me, I made it with only a slight chill.  The ride home promises to be in the 60s so it will be a great ride.  Although, I do have to learn work early to pick up my middle son to take him to the doctor.  Good thing he likes to ride too.  cooldude

What car?  Oh, the 67 Mustang fastback?  Well it's OK, but not a Valk...
Another glorious day!  Did that front wheel actually come off the ground this afternoon when I downshifted and floored it?  I hope not, 'cause that would scare me to death!   Shocked

After 3 days of rain and even some sleet and snow flurries mixed in yesterday, I was finally able to ride the bike to work this morning...1st day this week.  But it is looking like a glorious weekend coming up with wall to wall sunshine and temps at or near 80.  And tomorrow, I got invited to go on a free golf outing for work...about an hour away and yes...I'm taking the bike.  So I get to ride an hour each way, golf 18 holes for free, and free eats and prizes afterwards...and get paid.  Yeah..it gonna be a good day!  cooldude

For most of the spring I had been arriving earlier than the fellow that has the key to the door and having to wait on him. I have finally gotten the timing down perfectly. I leave the same time, but I meander more. Now I'm arriving spot on time right after he opens the door in the morning. It is really a shame that I only have a few more times to commute in now that I've gotten it timed out right.

This morning was a good jacket morning, nearly 45 degrees. This afternoon is supposed to be nearly 80 here. What a day to be inside working.

didn't stay long ... couple hours & then rode back home ....

Beautiful day in the desert .... high today was 98!

Beautiful 56 degrees this morning. Supposed to get really windy this afternoon (25 - 30 mph winds), and NOW they say there's a slight chance of pop up showers and T-storms. Hope it holds off.

I put on my regular jacket for the ride in yesterday. After I left at lunch time to go home I put the jacket on again out of habit. At the third red light I found myself questioning why I was baking in the sun so much. So at the next red light I opened the tourer saddle bag and wiggled my jacket off into the saddlebag.
Today was in the 50s at sunrise. It is going to be nearly 80 for the next few days.
One of my co-workers said, "Today is the type of day when I want a motorcycle." He's right. It is a nice day to commute.

Another ride to work day for me...  Ah, Wisconsin weather...  Gotta love it  Smiley

We had snow earlier in the week (was gone by noon the same day).  Temps were in the mid 30's on Monday, and may hit 80 today  cooldude

Only problem with riding to work, is that I can hear her calling me from the parking lot...  'Ride me...  It's too nice to be stuck inside...  It's gonna rain tomorrow, so come ride me now...'  Got a hunch it's gonna be a 1/2 day today  Grin

Yahoo! I can post on this thread today! I've been waiting on some large "star washers"
to come in that will hopefully make this problem go away, but the washers are on
backorder, and some days the urge to ride is overwhelming  uglystupid2

Finally got a "good" day to ride in. Or I should say that Accuweather SAID it would be a good day. Forcast was for 42 and sunny in the AM with a chance of a quick shower in the PM and the window check said the sun was out. Showered, shaved and the window said it was a little darker. Got the bike out of the garage and it got hit with 3 drops, no biggie. 5 miles down the road I can see the thunderhead AND the lightning as I pulled out on the wet main road.

Stayed dry enough I guess, and I get to ride home in the sun and 70's.

It is about to be a great day to commute!
I'm just waiting for the laundry to get done so that I can jump on the bike and go this morning. It's going to be another four commute day! The other days at work are running out for the spring. So I'm going to enjoy one of the last commute to ride, ride to commute type of days.

I'll be heading to the on-site art museum this morning.  A beautiful ride in, and I get to look at art? Nice.

later that same morning...
59 degrees and the sun came up earlier than I expected. I left the house earlier than I needed to. I was on the bike before I realized I was running early, so I just took a little longer path to work. Very nice.
The sun is shining today and I'm packing a camera. I need to pose the bike a bit today and snap a few shots. Maybe I'll take a long lunch and work on that today.
