Heat wave in Kansas, 34 this moring with 48 later today.

I think 34- 35 is my personal "low" temp setting. I can ride all day at that temp with my gear and be "comfortable". Not too cold and just the Gerbings gloves running.

Hey ya'll, have a good weekend.

I rode.  The signs were displaying 23 - 28 on the way in, but it's predicted to reach 42 before the day is done.

I almost rode today, but I passed because they are calling for snow showers today.  No real accumulation, but still, it could get a little slick.  Another big problem around here, beside all the crap on the roads, is that we have so much snow on the ground and during the day the temps rise and the snow melts...running all kinds of water across the roads.  Then at night it freezes, creating alot of icy spots.  It has been getting better, but still you have to be careful.  But it is warming up more and more each day...so maybe I'll ride tomorrow.  cooldude

In summer when it's about 88 degrees and the sun is shining I don't mind the rain.  Cheesy But if you ride much you're gonna get wet sometime so it comes with the ride.

I had a good ride in this morning, around 35 or so.

I actually braved the cold and crappy roads and took the Valk to work today.  Weather man said it was about 20 degrees or so when I left the house at 7am but heading into the upper 30s this afternoon.  A couple places were pretty sketchy with ice from the melting snow running across the road.  But I had no problems...just real careful.  I sure wish my Gerbings would get here.  They are on back-order.   Undecided

You're gonna love those new Gerbings if you ever get them. Does that make you feel warmer?  Evil

It was colder today at 29 but clear. I gave the Interstate it's spring wash last night. It looks much better clean and shiny once again.

I rode.  Displays showed 22 - 28.  Crossing Lawrence I stopped at a light and had a short (and pleasant) exchange with a rider on a Harley Sportster.  He wanted to know if it was cold enough.  I didn't see any other Valkyries.

It should be significantly warmer on the way home.   Smiley

Left for work after the snow stopped, the ride home was 40 & glorious.  I think spring may be at least breathing hard.

Today made two in a row, looks like it might be good for all week, hope you all in Oklahoma are staying safe, there were pictures of tornadoes in the news tonight. No heated gear, and I was too warm in my 3 season jacket. Feels really good taking the long way to & from!

I seem to get flamed when I tell how much I have been riding, so I won't say.  Let's just say that yesterday I didn't ride because of the 80% chance of rain...  Sad

I rode to work today...cloudy and chance of rain, but 60* F.  Can't beat that.  Unfortunately, when I went home at lunch time, I had to leave it and take the Jeep.  I have to pick up the kids after work. because my wife has an appointment.  I could have ridden yesterday, but I didn't because I had my bowling league last night...and it can be a pain to strap the bowling bag on the rear seat.  I've done it several times, but when the road conditions are sketchy and the temps are not that comfortable, it's just not worth the hassle.

I've ridden to work speedo-less every day for the past few weeks. I've been busy and haven't had time to post anything, but it happened.  Still trying to fix the speedo.
I've picked up extra hours at work trying to make more money but I'm not sure if it is worth it most days. I haven't found a routine yet.

Commute to ride, ride to commute.
