I just installed a 6 into 6 exhaust on my '99 Interstate. The shifter hits the middle pipe when I try and downshift. Does anyone know of a relocation kit, or has someone ran into this problem before? I thank you for any help.  John

Have never installed those pipes but did you have to remove the lever to get them on if so maybe you slipped it back on one or two splines off.  If not then the PO had moved it down or reinstalled it that way and it was just off from the get go.

I have Cobra pipes and I have to instal the shifter arm one or two teeth off one way or the other, but it will work fine, just tinker with it

Get under there and look.  There are 2 places where you can make an adjustment.  Wink

Problem solved. I didn't see the second adjustment. Thanks for your help.
