I HAVE BOUGHT A CB FOR MY VALK. INTERSTATE 1999 AND I KNOW THAT IT HAS TO BE INSTALL UNDER THE SEAT BUT I DO NOT KNOW HOW AS THERE IS THE RADIO UNIT THERE.
I NEED MORE DETAIL OR A SKETCH OF THE INSTALLATION IN ORDER TO AVOID MODIFYING THE WIRES.

IN DEED I AM NOT A MICHANIC AT ALL.

Not completly sure but I think it actually goes under the trunk has it's own rack that attaches to the underside of the rack the trunk sits on. If I am wrong I am sure someone will chime in and correct me.

I don't own one so I don't have real experience with the CB.
Good luck with your install.

My CB is loosely sitting on top of the battery (removed the rubber strap holding battery) .  The AM/FM radio is vertical behind the battery.

The oem cb goes in a rack under the trunk bracket, the bracket should be available from Honda if not there on non cb models. Is it an oem cb? if so it should fit. Hoser

Here is an E-Bay link to a complete setup including the under trunk mounting rack. Sale is over but thought you would like to see all the parts laid out for informational and idea purposes.

The CB can easily fit behind the battery leaving the AM/FM in its spot.  It may be helpful to cut away some of the plastic in that spot.

Thanks for the suggestion, It was installed by someone else, and I haven't really messed with changing it,,,, it seems to be fine where it is,,, I may have misused the term "loosely", as it isn't moving anywhere from where it sits once the seat is installed.

Lucky Luke,

I have a cb mount you can have. Just pay shipping.

You would have to get your own mounting bolts.....Im sure they are cheap.
