I'll be heading into Canada in a week or so on the bike. Is it best to exchange money at a bank or just use credit cards for everything? I know VISA does the money exchange in the billing. CraignAZ and I are headed to NS for lobster. A nice little ride from AZ with stops at Americade and laconia.

Don't forget to get your Canadian insurance card. Your insurance IS valid in Canada, but your insurance card is NOT. Ask your agent for a Canadian insurance (yellow) card. It should be free.

I changed money at the bank AND used the credit cards. Many cards have a substantial fee for this so check first. Having some cash is handy though. Don't get hundreds. I never could get anybody in Canada to take them.

If they stop you at the border and ask...got any firearms?  Don't say...what do you need

You guys have a safe trip and check in from time to time.
