not finding the Love of my motorcycle life until 2004.....I could have been with her back in 1999..... I have a few other regrets.....like not going into the Air Force ROTC when I was at UGA....I could have seen the world and been retired from the military and been able to start a new career by now...... And there was that time when TWO sexy women offered to....... .... Anyone else want to share some regrets??

I bought a '99 Vulcan Nomad in August of '98. In the summer of '99 I rented an IS in Ca. Took me 11 years to get the IS. This one could be the one I rented. It is set up exactly the same. I waited until the Nomad had almost 100k on it and started looking. Found this one on EBay out in Minnesota. Like you I would rather have been using it instead of letting someone else put the first 29k on.

had a 1966 Chevelle Malibu that i stripped down and re-done. awsome car, sold it a year and a half before they hit the big time and you could not find one for at least 3 times what i sold it for. spent 2 years looking at Harley's before i bought a 2 year old Valk. should have adopted our foster daughter when she was 9, now she is 32 and they wont let her even come see me. Not many, bought my 99 Valk new and it's still with me. Still have my 67 Chevelle, regret was letting my 16 year old drive it. Never told my dad how much I loved him, not sure I could have anyway. But life's too short for regrets and we're not promised tomorrow so "live like you're dieing". I know, easier said than done

Had two yes count em 2 1956 chevys at the same time. Then the young uns came along. Met and married two decent women-not at the same time. Divorced em both. Livin with the second one. Didn't have a full time motorcycle whilst raising the families. Well one here and there. Get one keep it a year or two sell it wait 2 3 years do er again. Lost touch with my first 4 kids from the first marriage-they don't seem interested in renewing with their dad. Also no contact with my grand kids-that sucks the big green one. Met and bedded some fine ladies and some not so fine ladies. Met some decent folk and some not so decent when ridin. Posted this before- june 30th 2010 i became the property of that green and silver i/s i bought. Speaking of which-got over 10000 miles i put on her and ain't had her quite a year yet. That boys and girls is no regret at all. screw it-lets ride. RIDE SAFE.

i've had a lot of regretes. from high school, i should have gone into the airforce, but since i didn't do that, i went to college instead, and when i dropped out of that, i should have NEVER moved back home, i should have moved to colorado like i wanted too, but my parents owned a business and they wanted cheap (free) help, so like an idiot i moved back home, they sold the business, retired, gave me very very little for the ten years i gave them, then THEY moved to a warmer climate and now i'm stuck waiting for my youngest to turn 18 so i can leave the wife and move to a warmer climate myself.
oh, i'm sure there'll be plenty of more regrets to be made......

My biggest regret was that I should have stayed in the service for a full career! Those were great years and I was doing things there that just can't be equaled in civilian life! sigh,,,,. But, I still do have my 57 Chevy. Just an FYI, this Chevy has been in my family since it was new. I was with my Uncle the day he bought it. I was 7 years old and can still remember the day clearly! That car isn't going any where as long as I'm still around. My 97 Valk Trike will more than likely also be with me till the end.
