I have a set of Kuryakyn pegs on a standard, and bumped a mower tire pulling into a friends garage and broke the right side. It is the kur-4050 and appears to be aluminum. I was wonder if any of you guys think It can be weilded and would hold. I hate to spend $180 for a new pair when all I need is the right side, plus the weld would not be that noticeable, if it can even be done. All thoughts are appreciated.......

Aluminum can be welded if the welder knows how to do it.

If he doesn't know how, find one who does or spend the clinkies for a new one.

Also put a WANTED in the classified, someone just might have one laying around gathering dust.

Thanks for the input......I don't need the footpeg itself, what I need is the  swingarm that mounts on the end of the footpeg and mounts up to the clamp on the engine guard......any one else have an opinion or experience concerning having this thing wielded?

Swing arm? Or the arm that attaches to the mount?  If it is the arm what length do you need?
