I can't help about the shape I'm in
I can't sing, I ain't pretty and my legs are thin
But don't ask me what I think of you
I might not give the answer that you want me to

Never made it to DC for Rolling Thunder yet but everyone that goes always mentions this Marine.

Amazing that he stands there for the whole parade.  Well done Sir.

I was at Rolling Thunder last year. Quite a moving experience.  cooldude

BTW, keep in mind that Rolling Thunder is not meant to be a Parade, rather it is a Protest about the lack of action to get our POWs and MIAs home.  Embarrassed

I think that every Biker/Veteran owes it to him/her self to go at least once. While there be sure to go to Arlington. If that doesn't make you both proud and profoundly sad, then there is something wrong.

My deepest sense of respect to that Marine.  If you've noticed, at about the 2:16 point in the first video, his arm starts to drop........instead of losing the salute, he lowers his head to keep the salute crisp.

Keep in mind that he is out there for around 3 hours (or more) holding that salute and never dropping it.  That's beyond impressive.

I'm deeply impressed by his dedication to his sense of duty and honor.

And that fellow on the white HD Heritage at 2:30.  That slow salute showed his full sense of honor and respect for that Marine.  He couldn't have done it better.

They both have my deepest respect.
