hi guys 
hey ... anyone familiar with "lees gun parts "store    ???

i need two trigger guard screws for an old  pistol i have ..
great western arms 38 special ... nickle finish
back two screws under side of the pistol trigger guard
their are five screws... two on top .. three underside
one front and two back ... 2 back screws i need
local gun show this weekend at harvey hall here in tyler
more than once i was told this is THE place to look for old and obsolete
gun parts    cooldude
lunch for anyone that can get these two screw for me
or a favor i can do for you down this way ... money for gas and postage ...

had this peice forty years and now i wanta shoot it ... i found "franzite" grips to fit in noonday ... am told they are as old as the pistol   Cool
found a "gun doctor" in longview to replace fire;in pin and  springs that were missing but no screws for the guard
two boxes of wadcutters and shotshells ... gonna shoot h*ll out of my mother in laws stock pond here in a while   Shocked

Suggest you give them a call and talk to them.  I haven't had the need for their services, but they have a reputation for having a lot of old parts.  http://www.leesgunparts.com/.  If they have it, one of us can run by and get them, but they also will mail it out direct to you which might save you some time.

If the safe firing of your 38 is in question you would be best off to jump on you bike and take it in to Lee's. He will amaze you with the way he pulls the proverbial rabbit out of the hat (looks a lot like Daniel and my garages) and a plus for you as an out of towner - he only works on a first come first serve, while you wait, no appointments basis. ~Jeff

i sent pictures and a note of what i have in the mail
to jeff lee's gun parts store ...
forty years later ... a few more days won't hurt
the thing fires ... just missing screws (2)
