Well after getting my FatLady back on the road I decided before I start changing and experimenting with my vacuum setup for the Cruise control I should get some idea how it's runnung. So I pulled 3 plugs I know I should pull all 6 but I just was not in the mood to pull the Pods off at this time.

This is just running mostly Highway speeds 3 nights to work and back so about 190 miles.

Looks just a tad bit on the rich side but keep in mind these plugs have about 5,000 miles on them and this includes the running poorly from the clogged jets and the seafoam and the Techron and the running prior to De-Smog from my long "Arsed" project.

Not real bad but slightly rich, whats your opinion.

Id say just about right.  Certainly not rich

agreed, certainly not too rich. remember one rule of thumb. you cannot damage an engine running rich (you might foul a plug) but you can burn holes in your pistons running lean.

What I do notice though.......is a lack of anti seize.  A light coating will seal the threads and make removing them easier and safer

Thanks too all of ya,

Really appreciate the advice, I think I will leave her alone for a while and maybe pull all 6 in a month and compare again then.

Oh there actually was Anti/seize used on them don't know why it is mostly gone and what little is stll there does not show in the picture. They were reinstalled with a fresh coat of anti/seize. Thanks.

Thanks,
Matt

Color looks about right.  One looks a little more white than the rest, but there's no evidence of burning so it's fine.

Thanks again,

I guess they are fine I am just one that always has to have confiormation from others that I am thinking correctly.

just FYI: here is the positions they actually came from. You might remember that I was having problems with cylinders #3 & #5 and at some point I ran the #5 Pilot jet in about 1/4 turn from 1-3/4 turns out as a test and I was not 100% sure I got it back to it's original position of 1-3/4 turns out, I guess I probably got it back to the same place as the others are or at least very close.

Sorry Don' know why Photobucket is having problems showing my posted pictures right now I will update this later or at least check back and see if Photobucket fixed the problem.... well it seems to have gotten fixed now.

i'd say they look perfect....put them back in and run them.  you can pull the plugs out enough thgat you can wear the holes out.  i wish mine always looked like that.  good luck.
