About to buy some and wondered what the difference between the ones from HDL and the ones on ebay might be. Does anyone know if there is a difference between them in size or any other differences I should consider before purchase. Ebay guy has sold a lot with NO complaints. Links below for comparison. If you've seen either in person and can comment it's greatly appreciated. Dave

Be aware (if you're not already) that they're cosmetic only. That's just the slide diaphragm cover. I'm not trying to offend you or anything, you might already know that but some people don't.

Just doing your civic duty, I understand and it's appreciated, but I have turned a wrench or two on these girls. I just love the way they look and can't resist anymore.  cooldude

I think they're a little hokey unless you put flashing lights in them that look like FIRE! Then you're in on the joke.  Wink

Thank you. Hope to hear from some that have the others also or maybe have seen both sets on bikes and can tell me how they compare in size. Diameter, height and shape. Thanks again, Dave

I have a set from Aeromach, material is billet, chrome plated (but its not very good on the inside, but they look good on the outside)  very thin materials and weight very little.  Everything lines up good.  Would be great if they were 5 or 6mm smaller for tank rub.  But I've done the fix.

Interesting. Ones on the bay are the same billet and triple chromed. Going on a standard so they will fit fine. Thanks, Dave

They're probably the same ones.  I believe Add-on is the only manufacturer still making them.
Aeromach are better quality, but they don't make them anymore.
