Copied from the article:

In recent years, some veteran riders have complained the Sturgis rally has lost its outlaw edge, attracting too many bankers and lawyers with top-of-the-line $30,000 Harley-Davidson's and not enough old-fashioned hard-core bikers.

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Hard-core bikers, sound like it might have been Bike Gang related.

That is or was the attitude of biker gangs back a few years ago.    That is one reason Sturgis did it owns cleaning house on the Rally.......   If they wore their colors, which most did, it did cause friction........

The "Too Broke for Sturgis" rally is ABATE of Arizona's main fund raiser.  It's isn't an official outlaw biker party, and you get a mix of everyone.  The article indicated it could be a murder-suicide, since they found a gun next to one of the dead's hand, and the others were in camp chairs.

I agree with Bobbo,,did i just say that?,,,, the victims were in the chairs, if it was an assault from a different party seems to me at least one would have tried to run,,,wonder where all the witnesses were?
but i dont see why they tried to connect it to sturgis,, this one thats to broke to go to sturgis,,so no sturgis,,,just thinking out loud,,,

I'm waiting to hear what balistics has to say, if the gun found was the murder weapon.  The guy dead on the scene with a gun could have been trying to protect himself and his friends.

Just not enough evidence yet to draw a conclusion.

GSR tests will shed some light.

Bullets matched to the gun found will help, but the shooter may have staged it to look that way..

Maybe the woman clingning to life will be of some help, most likely she won't remember anything.

SHock and Trauma induced amnesia.

The real killer may never be found.

Majority of murders go unsolved even in this day and time.

But for sure Sturgis will and already has taken some of the blame.

Funny how the media works these things to get you to assume the things they lead you to believe.

I was there. It was a bad night for all. The shooter's wife was pole dancing at another campsite. He got pi$$ed and shot her and the 2 guys with the pole. Then he ran a short distance and shot himself. Nothing like guns, beer and stupidity in the same person. The last I heard, the wife was in critical condition with 6 gunshot wounds. I watched the helo fly her out. A woman I know was in her tent 20 ft from the shooting. No MC gang involvement. AZ ABATE is a place for lots of MC gangs to be a member. Lots of them were carrying in the campground. But the issue wasn't their problem.

Typical.  People hear about a shooting at a Biker function and the first thing they think is that it has to be a MC club that did it.  Way to jump to conclusions.

When the Hell's Angels control ABATE in AZ and the Sons of Hell among others are there, it's bad news. True that most clubs aren't gangs but some are.
