Nope, although that reminds me of a nasty prank some Air Force buddies pulled on me back in the late 50's. I was on the swing shift from 4-midnight, working on B-47's at Pease AFB in Portsmouth, NH. We had a good night crew, always doing stuff to pass the time if the workload was slow. One day in the mail, I got this bunch of literature for mailorder brides, coming from all over the world. I got all kinds of letters and propositions, some I was embarassed to let my wife look at. After a couple months, I finally figured out what happened...the night shift clowns had sent my name and address in to a whole bunch of those ads. Those darn things followed me for the next ten years. I will say this....if I hadn't been married, some of those Scandinavian gals sure would have made me think twice.

But no Tom....it wasn't me....this time. But thanks for the idea!   2funny 2funny

Best one done to me was the weekly mailorder pantyhose delivery.  In "nude, queen size".  Took awhile to get them to quit.  good one.

my old boss did that to his highschool teacher!  went to the magizine rack at a truck stop, pulled out a subscription card from EVERY raounchy magizine and filled it out with her name/address.  checked the bill me later option for the maximum subscription.  he really hated her, did it for a week straight from every magizine he could find!!

i'm sure her husband enjoyed it too  Wink

Can  you imagine the trouble you'd get in for that now? Mail fraud, harassment, probably have to register as a sex offender (again).

Years ago, I bought one-year NRA memberships for a couple of old friends.... one appreciated it, the other (in LA) did not.   TFB

(I fail to see how buying someone a gift subscription to a magazine available to the public would be mail fraud.)

If you check the "bill me later" and you're having them bill the other guy then it's absolutely mail fraud. That's not really a "gift"  Wink

After my father died, Mom kept getting those magazines in the brown wrapers. She contacted the company many times to get them to stop. To no avail. She then did a change of address form.
  Dad's name
Mount emblem Cemetary  Plot # 00000
She did the complete address and the magazines stopped. I often wonder where they went. I guess some care taker had something to do after that
