I saw a Orange Valk just went for 3951. on Ebay

I know there is another Valk owner in Mansfield.

I had been wanting a 350-650/4 and this kinda fell in my lap. I'm pretty sure if I can't save them, I can sell the luggage and cover my cost.

WoW, I never knew the red line on those V-2's was that high? Am I seeing right? is that 9500 rpm? I think they made a turbo version also, but it may have been a 650, I'm not sure. I always thought that bike would last forever and be pretty smooth.

I just found-out that Honda made a 500 and 650 turbo, I'll bet they are rare. I've never seen one, but I'll bet they are fun!

The 550 looks like a keeper!

I'm probably wrong - but that looks like the 500 Silverwing Interstate model. Maybe the Interstate was only availabe in the 650 model?? they made a model without the fairing (I had that one).  The full dresser came with matching hardbags and a trunk.  the passenger seat could be taken off and the trunk installed, which then became the drivers backrest.  Great bike.  I had the 82 model.  Bought it in 1990 for $950.00, very low mileage, kept it for about 5-6 years, added the trunk I found on line at a junk yard.  sold it to a friend for $1000.  He kept it for another 5 years, added the hard bags and sold it for $1100.  I saw it a few years back and it still looked and ran great.

I never updated pics. I put gas in the Silverwing and we been riding it. I stripped it and my wife is practicing in the yard. The 550(the tank does not have that speck on it) was as expected, I got the carbs rebuilt, runs goods. each need some routine maint to be 100% ready to go anywhere, afterall they sat 12 years.(and had poor maint by the last owners). I'm putting the 550 in the classifieds, we are both to big for it, with a factory seat, maybe.

That 500 Silverwing will run forever. I had one for a while between goldwings. Good handling, Cheap to run, will plod along at about any speed you want to go. Don't try any drag racing unless the other guy is on a single speed bike. A 10 speed will wipe the road with you Grin cooldude

Wow, they both look like they cleaned up nicely! How's mama liking it? Taking to it well?

I've always had a soft spot in my heart, for the early Wings - Silver OR Gold!

Still hoping to get my wife back on a bike, someday.

I was concerned with the Silverwing, it runs over 3000RPM at 40mph

My wife enjoyed her GL500 when she had it. The handlebar vibration eventually annoyed her and she moved on.
