Do Your Best and Miss the Rest!

Yorkville, Illinois

« on: August 21, 2011, 06:58:16 PM »

Well, it's been a few weeks since IZ XI. I'm pretty well caught up with my chores and tell my wife
I'm going to settle in and read one of the two Daniel Meyer autographed books I bought at IZ.

To explain things, I'm not a big book reader. The last book I've read had to be a Stephen King novel, Semetary--about 15-20 yrs ago.

I start in on "LIFE IS A ROAD the Soul is a Motorcycle.  I find Daniels method of writing to be so
captivating. The fact that we all share a common motorcycle and the same "passion" while riding makes it all the cooler. Just as I thought I could put the book down after about 59 pages of non-stop reading, I get to the part about a figure standing in the road, out of headlight range..the next few pages were nothing short of FASCINATING.

Well, now I'm almost halfway through the book and I only bought two...what am I going to do till the next IZ?

In short, you're a great guy...and writer, Daniel. And you're a man who has similar pleasures. In the book I see you often combine an ice cream treat with a meal...just like up in Bellaire.  cooldude

wiggydotcom,

I know what you mean I do not get a lot of book reading done either. However, I told myself as well, I was not leaving InZane this time without Daniel's books. I did score all four which he graciously autographed. I am into book two after spending half the night, one night, after InZane reading book one! Usually when I start reading them I am there to the end.

Great Job, Daniel
