Had this bike in my garage for a few months fixing it up for a good friend of mine. He got it in a 2 for 1 bike trade. I sold the 2000 Sportster that came with it for $3,000 & he got $7,000 for this stretched out '79 Shovel. That means he got $10K for the used '07 1200 Sporty that he traded for them. I think he did OK. The Shovel was loaded with lots of horrible Redneck engineering.

Took me a few months of picking at it to get it back on the road. Oil lines against the pipes, 4 strands of copper left on the ground cable, birds nest wireing job, rubber o-rings on the brake banjo bolts, filthy everywhere, the list goes on.
We were both happy to see it go! He's all Honda now, that was his last Harley!
