We got about 1000 drops in the parking lot at work.  Barely covered the lot.  Near the Med. Center.

Congratulations!

I'm proud to announce that here in Central Texas we have broken the all time record of 69 triple digit (100 degree plus) days in a single year.  Today was number 70!  It's great to be on a winning team!

Got .13" at my house in Texarkana yesterday. This is the first since May. I sat outside in the swing yesterday afternoon. It was about 89°. It felt great.
It's supposed to be 102 again today. (Thursday) but then the highs are 95 and 96 for the next seven days with an overnight low of 68 Saturday. hallelujah!

Predictions for Saturday here have been lowered from 109 to 104.  I don't think I'll be spending much time outside for a few days.

YES SIR we got rain......in the Tomball, Tx / Rosehill area we got a good 1" or more yesterday evening.      That rain came right down the tube on the radar loop and hit us right on the head..........for a 20 percent chance of rain it was just awesome.    For such a rain to come straight to us and blast us like it did ....on a 20 percent chance........it had to be Divine Inervention.  I litterally got on 1 knee in the garage and thanked the Lord for an answered prayer.

Got a good rain weds. night and a drizzle on and off until about 9am thurs.  About 12.30 pm Denise a I jumped on the valk and took a ride up thru coldspring to Porkchops Icehouse near Point Blank. They have a very good fish sandwhich there and adult beverages. Came back to Shephard tx caught Fm 223  to Doelin then 787 to Rye and 146 to Liberty to moms house. WE cooled off there and then a short ride to the house. It seemed to stay pretty cool most of the day. We got 150 miles on the bike and had a great time.
