If anyone there hears you say "button down the hatches" you might get a funny look or two.

I ride through Middleton all the time!

I am off for gasoline for my generator.  I can't keep a constant supply with the lousy ethanol in it, but need 24 hours of fresh gas just in case.  Also will be checking all the gutters and downspouts.

All loose items outside either brought inside or tied down,, generator checked out and extra gas on hand,, filled the propane tanks for grill cooking.  Now just got to hope the landslide behind our house dosn't get any worse....  gonna keep an eye on that,,, whole lotta yard (what little is left) could dissappear into the river in a hurry   Sad

God Bless all of you. We will be praying for you. We felt lucky to miss it here in Orlando, then you think, wait, someone else is going to get it. Stay safe and , please, be ready for no food, no water and no power for 3 to 5 days. FEMA can't be everywhere! Sad

I just got gas for generator, all I need is
cold drinks and the ice box to run. Guess I can
connect the TV to the att for the local stuff.
Will also hook the low voltage ckt for the gas water heater.
It is strange takeing showers in the dark. I have found that
I can still find my butt in the dark.
