Yes, The colors match well. The red in the brick and the cream in the flowers compliment the colors of your Valk. Beautiful photo.

the sky was that blue!
It looks that way in most of the shots from that day.
I shoot with a simple point and shoot digital when I travel.
I have a 35 mm with a bag full of filters, but it is hard to use when riding and I'm always afraid it's going to drop.
Plus I've become spoiled to the ease of being able to double check my pics before I pull off to make sure that I got what I wanted.

The bike just looks peaceful in front of old country churches...

The sky was that blue.

and ofcourse sun position to the camera made it change slightly...but it was blue everywhere all day!

I like the PIC.

But, does the preacher know that you were riding your VALK on his grass?

One of the reasons thost doors look so high is because the steps are directly behind and blocked by the Valk.
I was a good few feet in front of the steps, not on the small stoop.  The angle, slightly down a hill and seated on the ground, makes it look more evasive than it really is.
I did ride out across the grass and put the kick stand down on the brick sidewalk.
The church was built as a small town church without a parking lot. The community walked to church through each others yards originally.
Now everyone shows up in cars and parks the best they can on the grass. So would they be upset that I was on the grass? Nope. I was mindful to pull up gently and slowly. No burn outs on the sidewalk or anything blatantly disrespectful.

Behind me, off camera, was the towns police station and city hall. It was a Monday morning, so the police officer was working (he's part time).
